My name is Annemarie Kelly. I’m an Autism Parent Mentor and a mom of two, one of whom is on the autism spectrum. I know firsthand the mental load that comes with navigating this journey.

When my daughter was first diagnosed, I often felt overwhelmed and wished I had someone who truly understood what I was carrying.
That experience led me to create Unexpected Path, where I now support parents navigating the early years of raising a child with special needs — offering encouragement, perspective, and practical guidance along the way.
Over time, I realized that what made the biggest difference wasn’t more information, but personalized support. That’s the gap I now help families bridge through one-on-one mentoring.
